In Cannes this year, Tarantino urged film-makers to get out there and make a film because “that's the best film school you can have”.
We did exactly that. We’ve just made our first feature, a psychological horror called CREDO and we’ve sold it internationally, including securing a Lionsgate release in the US.
As a writer / director / producer team, we quickly realised there’s no point sweating blood making your film if you can’t sell it at the end.
We made plenty of mistakes along the way, mistakes that cost us £££’s. Next time round we know exactly what we need to do differently.
Now you can benefit from our experiences on this special one day workshop that covers:
financing, producing, pitching, scripting, budgeting, scheduling, casting, crewing, directing the shoot, overseeing post-production, marketing, finding a sales agent and, most importantly, achieving the Holy Grail: distribution.
If you are planning your first feature, can you afford to miss this workshop? |
